3. Products and prices
- The digital book (High-definition PDF) β β¬19, all taxes included.
Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included. Contalya reserves the right to change its prices at any time; products are billed at the rates in effect at the time the order is confirmed.
4. Personalisation
Each book is generated, after payment, from a photo of the child, a first name, and narrative choices made by the customer. The customer is solely responsible for the accuracy of the information provided (first name, age, optional personal details).
5. Delivery
The digital book (PDF) is delivered by email as soon as it's generated, typically within an hour. Printed editions (softcover, hardcover) are only delivered within France and are offered on the French version of the site.
6. Right of withdrawal
Under French law (article L221-28 of the Consumer Code, applicable as these terms are governed by French law), the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for contracts to supply digital content not provided on a physical medium, once performance has begun with the consumer's prior express agreement and express waiver of their right of withdrawal β this is the purpose of the checkbox shown before the digital book is generated.
The same article also excludes from the right of withdrawal goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised (article L221-28 3Β°) β which is the case for printed editions, each book being made from the customer's child's first name, age, and character.
7. Liability
Illustrations are generated by artificial intelligence from the photo provided, after the order is confirmed: a reasonable likeness is sought but does not constitute an exact reproduction. If you're unhappy with the result, please contact contact@contalya.com: each situation is reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
8. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the customer is invited to contact Contalya first to find an amicable solution.
